New Heavenly Spa
New Heavenly Spa of Canarsie Brooklyn is a medically supervised spa founded in 2007 by Marie Belkacemi. For the past 13 years, Belkacemi worked as a registered nurse for Sunshine Medical on Flatlands Avenue and evenually became frustrated when she tried to find a convenient and quality driven full service spa in Canarsie that catered to her schedule. Her love for Canarsie Brooklyn and her experience as a cosmetic nurse specialist eventually propelled her to launch her own spa on 94-08 Flatlands Ave, in the heart of this vibrant community.
Belkacemi’s New Heavenly Spa provides an array of tailored treatments for both men and women of all skin types. Some of her services include Signature Facials, Youth Facials, Clinical Facials, Men’s Facials, Hands or Feet Treatment, Chemical Peels, Mesotherapy, Laser Hair Removal, Medical Microdermabrasion, Signature Back & Body Facials, Signature Eye Treatments and much more.
When The West Indian News visited New Heavenly Spa, we asked Belkacemi to share the reasons why she started her own spa. Belkacemi told the newspaper that as a nurse practitioner who once held two jobs, she found it quite difficult to find a convenient spa around Cararsie that provided the services she wanted that catered to her schedule. “So I decided to launch my own spa because I had all the experience as a cosmetic nurse specialist and registered nurse practitioner and I wanted to provide a service that catered to individuals with busy schedules. Our clients usually make appointments so there is no waiting when they come. They get their treatment and they are on their way. It is as simple as that” says Belkacemi.
In addition to providing service at the Canarsie Flatlands location, New Heavenly Spa provides home spa service to all Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens and Manhattan residents. According to Belkacemi, she wanted to provide the best service possible to all her clients. She says “some of our clients live in all boroughs of New York and often time they cannot reach us here in Brooklyn with their busy schedules, so we decided to provide home spa treatments to all of our clients if they ever need it. It is the same quality of service as they would receive in our office.”
New Heavenly Spa also provides niche skin care products for both men and women of all skin types at an affordable price. Belkacemi told The West Indian News she understands that products to manage various skin problems can be quite expensive and often time people don’t want to go to the spa because they have the perception that it will cost too much money, so they end up living with the problem. “This perception is absolutely incorrect because at New Heavenly Spa, we make all attempts to provide quality skincare products and services that are very affordable,” notes Belkacemi.
She urges Brooklyn residents to visit her spa and try the experience she offers. New Heavenly Spa can be found on the web at www.newheavenlyspa.com or by calling 718-297-7500/800-548-1435 to make an appointment. The Spa is located at 94-08 Flatlands Ave, Suite II, Brooklyn, New York 11236.
